§ 38-4. Underage drinking

  • (a) Circuit court jurisdiction over children age 14 or older. The county circuit court of civil jurisdiction shall have concurrent jurisdiction with the juvenile court in proceedings against children age 14 or older for violations of this section. The procedure for issuing citations under this section shall be governed by Wis. Stats. § 778.25. If a child has been found to have violated any provision of this section the court may enter any of the dispositional orders permitted under Wis. Stats. ch. 938.

    (b) Applicability. This section shall apply to underage persons 14 through 17 years of age.

    (c) Juvenile drinking laws adopted. The statutory provisions contained in Wis. Stats. ch. 125 relating to underage persons are adopted and by reference made a part of this section as if fully set forth herein. Any future amendments, revisions or modifications of the statutory regulations in Wis. Stats. ch. 125 are incorporated herein and are intended to be made a part of this section.
